MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Kappa Delta Sorority is pleased to announce it has hired 10 leadership development consultants for the 2020-2021 academic year, including seven collegians who will graduate this spring and three current leadership development consultants who will return for a second year.

“These dynamic leaders come to us from nine states, representing every region of the country,” said Bailey Headrick, director of chapter services. “They will build confidence in our members and inspire action in our communities by providing professional development and operational support to our Kappa Delta collegiate chapters and local advisors.”

Our senior leadership development consultants for 2020-2021 are: Molly Glime, Alpha Rho-Maryland, who will travel for a full academic year; and Caroline Azem, Omega Chi-Cornell, and Haley Keck, Theta Kappa-Northern Arizona, who will travel for half the year.

Our first-year LDCs are: Grace Bailey, Eta Chi-Elon; Lindsay Brantley, Nu-Oklahoma State; Haley Hummel, Beta Psi-Arizona State; Caroline Kallam, Epsilon-Louisiana State; Camryn Mayer, Zeta Alpha-Texas Tech; Natalie Simmons, Xi-Pittsburgh; and Kylie Transki, Zeta Rho-San Diego.

“Kappa Delta is fortunate to have these accomplished women represent the national organization as they visit our collegiate chapters across the country,” said Pamela Nix, executive director. “They exemplify the best of Kappa Delta.”

The consultants will travel from August 2020 to April 2021 to assist Kappa Delta’s collegiate chapters and chapter advisory boards in operations, recruitment and leadership development as well as the establishment of new chapters.

Kappa Delta Sorority is a national organization for women with more than 271,000 members, 168 active collegiate chapters and 224 active alumnae chapters nationwide. Kappa Delta is active in a number of philanthropic endeavors, including the prevention of child abuse and confidence-building programming with Girl Scouts of the USA. In 2009, the sorority created the Confidence Coalition, an international movement to promote confidence in women and girls. In 2010, Kappa Delta established International Girls Day to empower girls to reach their potential. It also created International Women’s Friendship Month for women everywhere.
