Scholarships help members achieve their dreams.
Kappa Delta Emergency Hardship Scholarship
In response to the urgent needs of Kappa Delta members, approximately 700 donors gave to the Kappa Delta Foundation Giving Tuesday Now campaign. Because of the generosity of so many Kappa Delta volunteers, alumnae, collegians, parents and friends, over $42,000 was raised. As a result, the Kappa Delta Foundation will award 21 Emergency Hardship Scholarships of $2,019 each to undergraduate and graduate KD members who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
To apply for an Emergency Hardship Scholarship, the member must describe the nature of her hardship and financial situation. Responses will be kept confidential unless the applicant provides permission to allow the foundation to use her personal statements for communications content including, but not limited to print material, website, social media and newsletters.
All applicants must be a member of Kappa Delta, be enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited university seeking their undergraduate or graduate degree for the 2020-2021 school year and be facing unforeseen financial hardship due to COVID-19. All applications for the Emergency Hardship Scholarships should be received no later than June 21 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
All forms must be completed electronically. You may save your application and return to it at any time, but it must be completed and submitted by June 21 to be eligible. Confirmation of receipt will be emailed to your primary email upon submission. Undergraduate and graduate students will use the same form to submit their application.

Foundation Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships
With the rising costs of college tuition, many members could not complete their education if it weren’t for Kappa Delta scholarships. To help members reach their educational goals, the Kappa Delta Foundation provides in excess of $259,000 in undergraduate, graduate and leadership scholarships to Kappa Deltas each year. These scholarships are made possible through generous gifts and bequests to the Kappa Delta Foundation.
Any Kappa Delta member may apply for a scholarship even if she has received a scholarship in previous years. However, no more than two scholarships may be awarded to a member during her lifetime. There may be scholarships available for specific majors, chapters or states. Upon submitting an application, candidates will be considered for any scholarships for which they qualify.
Any Kappa Delta member is encouraged to apply. Recipients are notified late spring. Undergraduate and graduate scholarship recipients were announced at Kappa Delta’s National Convention in June 2019.
Undergraduate and graduate applications were due Feb. 15. Read about the 2019 undergraduate and graduate scholarship winners.
