Kappa Delta Sorority Kicks Off National Conference with Brand Launch

Kappa Delta Sorority introduced its new brand today to more than 1,900 attendees at the sorority’s third biennial National Collegiate Training Academy in Orlando, Florida. Others nationwide watched a live-stream as the new logo and tag line, “Building Confidence. Inspiring Action.” were revealed and celebrated with cannon bursts of confetti.

“After several months of research and development, we are thrilled to introduce Kappa Delta’s new brand to our members and stakeholders,” said Alison Argersinger, Kappa Delta’s national president. “This was an important change for our sorority, and we really wanted it to be excellent!”

NCTA, which runs through Sunday, Feb. 7, is a weekend of intensive officer training, leadership development and recognition designed to build confidence in collegiate chapter leaders and advisors and inspire them to effective action on their campuses and in their communities. In addition to the brand launch, tonight’s opening session included a presentation, “The Power of Branding: How to Present Yourself for Success,” by Brooke Anderson, a Kappa Delta alumna member and correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight.”

The conference will also feature guest speakers Sally Hogshead, the New York Times bestselling author of “How the World Sees You,” the first science-based personal brand test; Katherine Hull Fliflet and Jen Marsh, representatives from the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), who will speak about campus sexual assault prevention and victim support; Alison Argersinger, Kappa Delta national president; and Corre Anding Stegall and Cynthia Allen Weston, members of the sorority’s National Panhellenic Conference delegation. Kappa Delta’s National Leadership Team members will lead officer-specific sessions designed to help chapter council members and advisors successfully carry out their duties and work together as a team.
