Give back to KD by serving as a volunteer.
Kappa Delta welcomes alumnae members to share their time and talents with the organization by serving locally with a chapter or at the national level.
Volunteers have the satisfaction of knowing they play a key role in the success of a chapter — or national Kappa Delta — and build close relationships with collegians and other alumnae volunteers. Discover the truth of the saying, “the more you give, the more you get in return.”
From chapter advisory board to house corporation to national leader, a volunteer position may just have your name on it!
Chapter Advisory Boards
Do you have fond memories of an alumna member who greatly influenced you while you were in the chapter? You could be that alumna to a collegian today! CAB members have the opportunity to mentor and advise Kappa Delta collegiate leaders and help maintain the excellent reputation Kappa Delta enjoys.
Apply to serve on a chapter advisory board by completing a CAB interest form.
House Corporation Boards
Many of our chapters are fortunate to live and/or gather in a Kappa Delta facility—be it a house, lodge, suite, dormitory floor or chapter room. Alumnae with talents in facility or personnel management, rental property or finance are encouraged to volunteer to serve on local house corporations that manage the properties.
Complete the HCB interest form to apply to serve on a house corporation board.
National Leadership Team
Kappa Delta’s National Leadership Team is a group of dedicated and knowledgeable alumnae united in their efforts to uphold the sorority’s values, promote its interests, and bring out the best in its collegiate and alumnae members. NLT members are selected by the National Council based on their service to KD at the local level and/or exceptional professional skills.
The deadline to apply for 2019-2021 NLT appointments has passed. If you are interested in applying to serve on NLT, you may still complete the interest survey since needs may fluctuate during the biennium. All surveys received will be kept on file. NLT appointments are a two-year volunteer commitment and travel is required. Please see position descriptions for approximate time commitment.
