Opportunities in Kappa Delta
The Kappa Delta experience does not end when you graduate from college. Kappa Delta offers its members a number of opportunities to stay in contact with Kappa Delta and perpetuate "good fellowship, friendship and sisterly love" well past the college years. Here are many ways to discover the truth of the saying that "the more you give, the more you get in return."
An alumnae chapter is a gathering of Kappa Delta alumnae who live in a certain city or area of the country. All chapters and all ages are encouraged to join and participate as members and as officers and leaders. While highly social, Kappa Delta's time-honored emphasis on philanthropic and charitable work is a strong focus of many alumnae chapters as is networking and assisting those new to the area. For contact information for active alumnae chapters, please see the "Chapter Directory" in the pull-down menu above or email Kappa Delta Headquarters.
Kappa Delta House Corporations (HC)
Many of our chapters are fortunate to live and/or gather in Kappa Delta housing—be it a house, lodge, suite, dorm floor or chapter room. As chapter members change every year, the ownership and management of the living quarters must remain constant. Alumnae with talents in facility or personnel management, rental property or finance are encouraged to volunteer to serve on local corporations which hold title and manage the properties. Please fill out this form to express your interest in serving on a chapter's house corporation board.
Chapter Advisory Boards (CAB)
Every member can identify an alumna member whom she admired and who greatly influenced her during her college years. You could be that alumna to a collegian! Mentoring, developing and educating the young college women of our country is one of the most rewarding and fun opportunities Kappa Delta offers its alumnae. And how better to ensure the excellent reputation that Kappa Delta enjoys! Each chapter has a board of devoted local alumnae who motivate and advise the chapter in all areas of chapter operations.
