Presidents and Emerging Leaders Conference

sigmaupsilon8.jpgIn 2002, Kappa Delta inaugurated its annual Presidents and Emerging Leaders Conference — the place where “extraordinary achievers succeed!” The Presidents and Emerging Leaders Conference is January 29 -31 2010 at Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi, located just minutes from Kappa Delta's National Headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. This experience will help you develop the skills necessary for successful chapter leadership, from creating a vision to working with the chapter council and much more.

Kappa Delta Sorority is providing this leadership training opportunity to the chapter presidents, vice president operations, vice president community service and one emerging leader from each chapter. The emerging leader should be a chapter member who shows potential for future leadership in the sorority and is not presently sitting on council. Your chapter council should give careful consideration when appointing an emerging leader to attend this event. Look for attributes such as campus involvement, high academic achievement, leadership capabilities and other such characteristics you would look for in a leader for your chapter. The chapter president, vice president-operations, vice president-community service and one emerging leader are required to attend. Please note that you may not send a substitute in place of the three council officers.
