Applications are now available for the 2015-2017 National Council and Nominating Committee.
The following items are required to be considered for a National Council or Nominating Committee position:
- Completed application form
- Signed Ethics Statement
- Signed Conflict of Interest Statement
- Candidate’s resume
- Headshot of candidate
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in the nominating process. Nominating Committee members have signed confidentiality agreements to protect applicants and those asking questions about the process.
Per Kappa Delta Sorority National Bylaws, the National President nominee must be a sitting member on the National Council. All National Council vice presidential positions are open for 2015-2017.
Additionally, there are four positions open for two-year terms on the Nominating Committee. Two positions call for women with specific nominating experience in a variety of organizations and/or hiring and interviewing experience in a business setting. These members must understand the best practices of the nominating process and have an understanding of sorority culture. Two additional positions require experience in serving Kappa Delta.
