A forty percent (40%) discount on property insurance premiums means there is no better time to install fire sprinklers in the chapter housing facility. In some instances, a major portion of the sprinkler cost can be made up in the coming years. With a recent fire at an East Carolina University fraternity house as evidence, installing fire sprinklers is beginning to become an imperative. Please do not hesitate to contact chapterhousing@kappadelta.org when you are beginning this process. It may seem daunting and difficult, but we can offer a lot of resources to assist you. You don’t have to do it alone. It is a priority of the national organization that all chapter facilities be fire sprinklered in the near future. Safety is of the utmost importance.
