A CDC is a recent college graduate who is able to contribute her Kappa Delta experience by visiting Kappa Delta chapters throughout the United States. Depending on the visit, a CDC may assist with chapter development, officer transition, recruitment assistance or recruitment planning. A CDC may also help with extension presentations, colonizations, and installations of new chapters.

, Delta Gamma, Western Kentucky University
Meet Lindsey: Lindsey graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and allied language arts. She served her chapter as president, secretary, vice president of operations and assistant new member educator. She was a 2009 Corre Anding Stegall Leadership Award winner, WKU Regents Scholar, WKU Greek Hall of Fame 2010 and WKU 2010 Greek Woman of the Year. She also was a member of the WKU honors college, president and secretary of Order of Omega and studied abroad in London. Lindsey enjoys reading, writing, coffee, traveling, working out and going to concerts.

Meet Lauren: Lauren graduated with a business management degree, political science minor and certificate in entrepreneurship. She served her chapter as vice president of community service and was involved with the Children’s Home Society of Florida and Shand’s Hospital for Children. She worked for the Republican Party of Florida as a senate finance intern and victory field intern.

Chapter Development Consultant: Samantha Navarra , Epsilon, Louisiana State
Meet Samantha: Samantha earned a degree in mass communication and served her chapter as president, vp-pr, assistant vp-pr, founder’s day chair and SET leader. Samantha has worked with/interned with LSU Center for Computation & Technology, Cynthia Steffe fashion line, North6 Production Company and Universal Cheerleading Association. She is a member of Mortar Board, Order of Omega, and listed on the Chancellor’s honor roll and Dean’s List. She has volunteered with local schools and went on a Greek mission trip to Costa Rica. Samantha enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and coaching cheerleading.

Meet Sophia: graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and served her chapter as vp-standards, SET leader, alumnae relations chair and was also Panhellenic president. She has worked as a clinical assistant at Children’s Hospital Boston and as a patient care associate at Massachusetts General Hospital. Sophia is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society, Husky Leadership Award recipient and was on the dean’s list. Sophia enjoys working with children, scrapbooking, jewelry making and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Megan: Megan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in magazines. She served her chapter as president, vp-membership and SET leader. Megan is a member of Mortar Board, QEBH Honor Society and the University of Missouri Honors College. She was also an MU tour guide, Women’s Leadership Conference organizer and Office of Greek Life Student Involvement Specialist. Megan enjoys writing, travel, music, baking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Shauna: Shauna graduated with a degree in middle grades education: English and social studies. She led her chapter as president, vice president of member education, SET leader, leadership chair, PACE chair and a member of the standards board. Shauna was a 2009 Corre Anding Stegall Leadership Award winner, Northern Kentucky University Service Award winner and Student Government Association William Lamb Leadership Award winner. She was a member of student government, Norse Leadership Society, New Student Orientation and Order of Omega. Shauna enjoys church, reading and spending time with family and friends.

My greatest strength is: I am blessed with the ability
to make friends easily. Also, I rarely get stressed. I'm really
optimistic and stay cool and focused under pressure.

had to ask a friend on this one and her response was, "People listen to
you because you make them feel like you're their equal, even if it is 5
year olds." haha...I love being a teacher.

Chapter Development Consultant: Lauren Richards , Beta Sigma, Southern Mississippi
Meet Lauren: Lauren is from Ridgeland, Miss., and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She served her chapter as president, vice president of membership, Shamrock director, public relations assistant, magazine chair, SET leader and junior Panhellenic delegate. Lauren was a member of USM Student Hall of Fame, a part of the USM Centennial Homecoming Court, and was named a USM Luckyday Citizenship Scholar, USM Academic Excellence Scholar, and won the USM Outstanding Freshman Award. She was also a member of the Student Government Association, Freshmen Associates, Eagle Connection and Diamond Darlings. Her interests include music, being crafty, coffee, the beach, traveling, Disney, USM athletics, being outdoors, musicals and baseball.
